Onsdag eftermiddag blev en 92-årig kvinde fra Kolding Kommune udsat for kontaktbedrageri, da en mand udgav sig for at være fra Danske Bank og lokkede hende til at udlevere både dankort, pinkode og kontanter.
Hændelsen fandt sted på Læssøegade i Kolding klokken 16.30. Kvinden blev først kontaktet telefonisk af en mand, der påstod, at der var mistænkelig aktivitet på hendes konto. Han forklarede, at en kollega ville komme forbi og afhente hendes kort og kode for at beskytte hendes midler.
Udleverede både kort, kode og kontanter
Politikommissær Arno Rindahl Petersen fra Patruljecenter Syd fortæller, hvordan bedrageriet fandt sted:
– En mand kom efterfølgende til kvindens bopæl, hvor han fik udleveret dankortet, pinkoden og desuden 3.000 kroner i kontanter. Efterfølgende er der hævet penge på kortet, forklarer han.
Politiet har modtaget et detaljeret signalement af den mand, der mødte op for at afhente kvindens ejendele.
– Han beskrives som dansk af udseende, 25-30 år, cirka 175 cm høj og almindelig af kropsbygning. Han har sort hår, kort i siderne med krøller på toppen, og en tatovering af røde læber på venstre side af halsen, oplyser Arno Rindahl Petersen.
Politiet advarer om kontaktbedrageri og falske bankbude
Hændelsen i Kolding falder sammen med en række lignende sager i Sydøstjyllands politikreds. Politiet udsendte allerede torsdag i sidste uge en advarsel om, at flere personer var blevet kontaktet af svindlere, der udgiver sig for at være bankansatte. Formålet er at lokke betalingskort, pinkoder og værdigenstande fra ofrene.
– En af de måder, svindlerne kommer i kontakt med deres ofre på, er ved at slå deres navn, adresse og telefonnummer op på nettet. Derfor kan man forebygge overhovedet at blive kontaktet af de kriminelle ved at få udeladt nummer hos ens teleselskab, sagde politikommissær Jesper Julian Christensen i en pressemeddelelse.
Politiet påpeger, at ældre personer ofte er i risikogruppen, og opfordrer pårørende til at hjælpe med at begrænse adgangen til deres kontaktoplysninger. Derudover opfordrer politiet til, at man kontakter myndighederne, hvis man oplever mistænkelige henvendelser eller har mistanke om svindel.
